I actually go by both names. No worries. I believe that was the satin effect scaled up. That one and the first were my favorite. I found that not all of the effects worked on these shapes. I was disappointing and frustrated.
Experimentation and play is the root of all creativity. Without failures you wouldn't be pushing the envelope. Choosing successful images out of a bunch where there are failures shows you "get" the intent of the project.
Excellent work Frances... I'm impressed with the thick and thin lines in the 2nd one. Was that a calligraphic brush?
